Ariba Procurement Coordinator

The Shared Service Center Benelux-Nordics-Iberica is a shared service center within Etex Group that provides services in finance, IT, payroll and admin purchasing to Etex companies in Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Scandinavia, Spain and Portugal. The shared service center is located in Kapelle-op-den-Bos and is currently looking for an Ariba Procurement Coordinator.


You support & promote the further development of the Ariba Procurement Content Platform (APC), the global Etex SAP procurement tool that unifies different Etex suppliers and their product catalogues. You will be responsible for the onboarding of different global suppliers to the Ariba network and the implementation of catalogues to the APC. You also attract extra suppliers to join the platform. This role includes following tasks:

  • You work closely together with the process owner P2P (purchase to pay) to define the list of target suppliers for both the Ariba network and the APC platforms.
  • You liaise with Ariba and with the respective buyers to contact the target suppliers. You escalate to the relevant buyers when target suppliers are reluctant to join. 
  • Once the suppliers have confirmed their interest, you coordinate with their teams the setup in the Ariba network and APC platforms (master data, catalogue content, rules, etc.)
  • You coordinate end-to-end testing with all parties involved.
  • You identify Etex employees who are buying from the target supplier – or would have to do so once the catalogue is live. You communicate to these employees about the changes, and support their training.
  • You provide training to the Etex employees and support them if they encounter issues or have questions about the catalogues.
  • You monitor the Ariba network interfaces to ensure all documents are transferred.


  • You have a Bachelor degree in Logistics, Finance or Business administration.
  • You have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar purchasing/Logistics coordination function and you have experience with different projects. 
  • You have a good understanding of and expertise with the procurement process. Experience with Ariba/APC is a plus.
  • You are fluent in English, written as well as spoken. Knowledge of other European languages is a plus (Dutch, French, German).
  • You have strong communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with internal and external parties.
  • You are result-oriented, convincing and persuasive.
  • You are highly skilled in planning and organizing.
  • You are customer focused and service oriented.
